The Residential plan gives your Outline key a US IP registered to a home internet provider — Comcast, Frontier, CenturyLink, Astound Broadband, Windstream and similar — that only you use and that never rotates. You choose a US state at checkout (or any state), the IP is assigned automatically within minutes of payment, and you connect with the same free Outline app and 60-second setup as every other VPN To US plan. Your home-provider IP is ordered and checked

Within minutes we buy a US IP from a household internet provider in that state, run it through an IP reputation check, and attach it to your key. Flagged IPs are discarded and a fresh one is ordered from another provider before you ever see it.

Paste the key into Outline and connect

Your key appears in the dashboard. Add it to the free Outline app on iPhone, Android, Mac or Windows and connect. Every session from then on exits through the same US home IP.

Residential vs standard plans

What to know before you buy

The residential connection carries TCP and DNS traffic: browsing, the TikTok, Instagram and YouTube apps, uploads, and TikTok LIVE through the app all work. Some UDP-only apps (certain voice calls, games) may not connect.
Latency is slightly higher than on the standard plans because your traffic takes an extra hop through the home-provider IP. Measured throughput is about 150 Mbit/s down and 130 Mbit/s up.

The state you pick is fixed once the IP is assigned. Choose "any state" if you just need a US household IP as quickly as possible.

Yes. The IP is bought for your key only and is not shared with any other customer. It stays the same for as long as your plan is active; it does not rotate. If you want a different IP you can reach out to support.

Your key keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. At that point the key stops and the IP is released back to the provider. It is not held for you afterwards, so a new plan later means a new IP.
